Wanderlust.

ABOUT
In WANDERLUST., you play as a grieving father fulfilling his daughter's bucket list items.
Lena, Jack’s daughter has recently died of cancer. Jack travels the world, determined to fulfill all her uncompleted bucket list items. What can go wrong, right?
Turns out: a whole lot. Each bucket list item contains a pretty big problem. The Golden Gate Bridge is closed for maintenance, the restaurant in France Lena wanted to visit is way to expensive, you get the idea...

SOLVE PUZZLES
Solve 6 different puzzles, all representing a path on Jack’s journey. Use chess figures to solve each issue. The pawn allows you to move forward and capture resources, and the rook allows you to move horizontally and vertically to interact with construction sites, removing obstacles from your path.

Great game, in a sense of... How should I say it... It's ridiculously amazing how, a simple gameplay as "chess" puzzle, with simple art style and not long story but long enough, all combine toghether into marvelous piece of art as a whole.
I don't even know why I like it(more of a feeling) to the extend that I do, completly diffrent pieces, yet, they fit so perfectly. Just 10/10!
So, wholesome, that you want to play more, but somehow you feel it's actually complete and enough... Indeed it is.
P.S. I don't know, if the story is true or not. Nevertheless thank you for sharing it! Moreover, to deliver such message through a game, I feel it's far more touching than even a long film or a video created for that matter. Because it has the ability to caught you offguard(in a good sense) and really accept the message, even though if one is tired of hearing it from relatives or such campaigns(videos/movies/articles etc.). Excellent job!
I can imagine tired people of life/struggles/depression or illness, being more open to play such game and at the end of the day opening themselves to others for help(or atleast not to experience everything alone), even the ones who aren't being treated well by others.
Cheers,
sorry for the long message, but words can go along way.
What a nice thing to write! Thank you so much, I'm happy you enjoyed the game :)
Nice Art !
Thanks!!
Wouldn't marking this game as adult make it so that other people couldn't find it unless they use the adult tag itself to search?
Oh really? I didn't know that
Great message and design. The puzzles were fun and a little tricky at times. I also like the voice acting and the subtitles that had a very easy to read text.
Thank you so much!
